New class for golfers:  Fit to Drive

Take our golf quiz:  Are you losing flexibility and power during your golf swing?  Have you lost distance off the tee?   Has your handicap increased over the last two years?  Do you get stiff in the back, shoulders or knees if you play two days in a row? Has pain limited your capacity to progress in your golf instructions? 

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, our Fit to Drive class can help you find a smooth, consistent and pain-free swing.  Open to both members and non-members, the program meets twice a week for one month at Fenton Physical Therapy.  You will learn the proper exercises to improve posture, flexibility, balance, coordination and strength.  The training is specific to the requirements of golf and injury prevention.  You will be provided with a stability ball and a foam roller for use during your home exercise sessions.  The classes will be conducted by Physical Therapists with special training in golf and sports-specific training.
